The managers of the bar hinted at a revival at least in the spirit of the bar, saying on their event page: ‘Please follow us on Facebook for our future projects.’ ![]() The bar, which opened in June 2006, was known for its eclectic range of dance music and theme nights, including MezzoDisco, Fitladz and Backyard, which featured a number of well-known and international DJs.įans of the bar were quick to express their sadness about the club’s sudden closure, some saying it would be missed and others recounting fond memories of the venue. While management have not released a statement, Barcode manager Michal Pryzasnyski has penned a short article in QX magazine, describing some of his fondest memories. The bar would have been nine years old in June. ‘Join us in celebrating almost 10 years of great parties at "The Closing Party" of Vauxhall’s favourite destination – Club Barcode!’ ![]() The club has not revealed any details about why it’s closing, but posted an event called ‘ The Closing Party‘ on Facebook, and said: ‘ Barcode closes its doors for the last time on Sunday morning 31 May. Gay club Barcode, based in Vauxhall, London, announced it will be closing after one last party on Saturday.
